Service Description

Owlya Pay is a payment collection platform designed to facilitate secure and convenient payment processing for educational institutions. By using Owlya Pay, institutions can collect payments from students for assessments and related services.

Fee Structure

Owlya charges a service fee of 3.5% for each transaction processed through Owlya Pay. This fee is applicable to the total amount of the transaction and is deducted before the funds are transferred to the institution’s designated account. By using Owlya Pay, you agree to pay the applicable service fee for each transaction.

Payment Processing

Owlya Pay integrates with Stripe, a trusted and secure payment gateway, to process transactions. By using Owlya Pay, you agree to comply with Stripe’s terms and conditions and any additional requirements or guidelines provided by Stripe. We do not store or have access to your payment information, as it is securely handled by Stripe.

User Responsibilities

As a user of Owlya Pay, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and legality of the information provided during the payment process. You agree not to use Owlya Pay for any unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations. You also agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information when using Owlya Pay.

Liability and Indemnification

Owlya will make reasonable efforts to ensure the smooth and secure operation of Owlya Pay. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and shall not be liable for any losses or damages arising from the use or inability to use Owlya Pay. You agree to indemnify and hold Owlya harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your use of Owlya Pay.

Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify or terminate Owlya Pay at any time, without prior notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Any changes to the Terms will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of Owlya Pay after the posting of any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Canada.
